Decorative Disasters

The Hooker who needs help is easily recognisable – they have gone beyond a throw here, and a doily there.  A cursory glance around the bathroom will reveal soap covers, loo roll covers and Holiday themed cistern cosies.  In the kitchen you will find potholders, tea towels with DC tops and the small appliances will be hiding their shame beneath covers.

The fact that crochet takes a third more yarn than *ahem* knitting does always raises an eyebrow – surely, at some point, say… row 4 of a crocheted sofa cover that it stops seeming like a Good idea?
