Out on the Fringes

The thing about not being part of What Not to Crochet any more is that the terms of reference have gone out the window, and crochet that is just plain weird comes into focus.

Like this.

I guess the red one would be perfect for someone who really really wants to look like a feng shui good fortune hanger.

Holy cow! Whatever would possess someone to crochet that blue THING with the crotch curtain or that red thing with pasties gone viral? Even a clearance on tassels does NOT excuse either of these yarn abuses!

I might be too stunned to even write a coherent comment!

I see that both of those gals have gone quite pale with the thoughts of having to go out in public in those things!

That blue thing – she looks like she’s got roller coaster retainers going over her shoulders to hold her back and I remember seeing a pierced granny that had things hanging from her crotch that looked like that.

As for the red thing – shudder –

I was just thinking the other day, MAN! I am missing something in my wardrobe…and here you have shown me the way! Crotch tassels! And tassels for the boobs without the ever cumbersome pasty! Thank you Misstitched!
